My favorite sharks lover.

It was my first time doing laundry at university and I had no idea that in order to get it done, I had to insert coins in the washing machine. I was desperate to get my dirty clothes cleaned and to wash them with my own hands is not even an option. I did not have the time and energy. Mostly energy. Because, I'd rather lay on my bed, scrolling my instagram's feed and waiting for the clothes to get cleaned with the help of the my unbreathing friend: washing machine. Nope, definitely not lazy. However, I had no coins with me. And bare in mind that they only accept the new 50 cent. (the gold ones) These machines are so cerewet, nate beruk. Fortunately, they provided a money changer machine. But unfortunately for me, that day, they were broken. 

Dysfunctional money changer machine = no coins = zero clean clothes. Simply maths, right there. 

Let me remind you again, I was desperate. I was going to have a class the next morning and have nothing proper to wear. Thus, I need to get the cleaning done. My solution? I picked up my phone and whatsapped my classmates (we have a group whatsapp for classmates). It was my early university days and I barely knew them. One of my classmates replied, "Ya, I have some cents. Where do you live?" "First floor." "I live on the fourth floor. I'll come down in a bit." I was touched. She was willing to go to my house to lend me her money when I was the one who was supposed to go to her. What an angel.

 and that is how I knew... Iman. Ya, that future-linguist-asshole.

This asshole is actually really inspiring, you guys. Let me tell you why:

1) She had cancer (stage 4) and survived. 

2) She postponed her SPM because she had to undergo chemotherapy and still managed to get straight A's.

3) She went through 18 chemotherapy sessions altogether. (My mum had cancer, she had one session of a chemotherapy and she said the pain was unbearable.)

4) Iman was a victim of bullying. (Hardcore stuff, sorry, couldn't tell you guys the stories) And yet, she has never showed a piece of hatred to others. 

5) She has a degree in accounting and was studying in UK and taking another course just to grant her mom's wish. (This girl is hella smart, she can do maths + language.) Guess who is my biggest competition in class. 

I would tell you how amazing this person is but I don't think my writing would do the justice because in order to admire this girl as much as I do, you have to get to know her. She is one of the best things that happened to me in 2015 and I couldn't thank god enough for this asshole. I am beyond blessed to have her as a friend of mine, someone who I look up to. An inspiration. I've never, in my life encountered such person. If you think you've met someone with a heart of a gold, this girl... has a heart of a platinum. (platinum > gold, lol) 

ALSO, a week ago, I posted a photo of Gillian Flynn's (my favorite author) latest book on snapchat with a caption "I need this book", the next day, someone knocked my door and gave me that book.. for free. Guess who.
